Just finished this book yesterday. It was so good. Hard to read - it hurt my heart a lot at times. But it was really good. It is a memoir about a little girl and her family growing up in extreme poverty. It is based on a true story and is worth the read. Gives you good perspective.

Alyssa, I read that book a couple of years ago. It was a great book, so intriguing and heart-breaking. She has another book, it's red, called "Horses" something. I have it here, read it last year. Very good as well!
