Here are some wedding pictures that Andy's Uncle Bill took.
The ring bearers and 3 of the 4 bell ringers. Finley is missing...

Lily & Rori - the flower girls

My two bell ringers! Aren't they handsome in their bowties?!

Bride & Groom after the wedding

Katie & her dad walking from the horse & carriage to the aisle. so sweet and beautiful scenery!
Post wedding - during pictures, a little distraction was necessary with Mommy's phone.

Nanny front & center with all of her grand children and great grandchildren. Andy has 2 older brothers each with 3 kids. So there are 9 cousins on this side of the family. Just wait until Katie & David have kids!

Katie's Wedding

Unfortunately all the pics we have are on Andy's camera and I can't access them. So since so much time has passed already here is a link to pics from Katie and David's wedding! The kids all looked adorable and Katie was a beautiful bride!

Cake Pop - Wedding Favors

Last Friday we arrived at Creekside Resort and Spa for Katie and David's wedding. We arrived around lunch time and my SIL's and I quickly started making cake pops for the wedding favors. We needed 100.  Unfortunately, the night before my cooked cake somehow ended up in the parking lot of our hotel when Andy was unpacking the van so I had to start over and make another cake. Thankfully, there was a Wal*Mart nearby and I could buy everything I needed!

Table ready with lollipop sticks, styrofoam, and sprinkles.

Erin and Steph with the cake pops ready to be dipped!

Steph and I were trying to get all the mishaps straightened out. There was a plate of mistakes that many family members benefitted from!

Some of the finished product. Katie's wedding colors were this blue and yellow.

Cakepops bagged and ready to be tagged.

My MIL, helping us tie the tags on with a ribbon. They said Katie & David with the wedding date on them. These turned out soo cute!

Overall, cakepops were a success and only took about 3 hours I guess. Not too bad. The bride was happy and those people that ate them at the wedding thought they were delicious!

Frostop

Last Thursday we left for WV to go to Katie's wedding (Andy's sister). We stopped in Huntington at Frostop. They have the best root beer. The only root beer I like. They make it there and it is just so good. Anyway here are a few pics. We then went to the park nearby and ate our picnic lunch and let the boys play before driving a few more hours.

Wilson really wants to like the root beer at Frostop but he just doesn't like any drink with carbonation.  Tyler wouldn't even try it so Andy, Luke and I enjoyed the root beer this time around!

Off to WV

Wilson and Luke are about to go on their first trip without Mommy & Daddy! They are going to WV with Andy's parents, Mimi and Poppy this weekend. They'll visit Nanny B and have tons of fun playing with 3 of their cousins. They have been so excited this week. It has been cute! They've been counting down the days and started packing yesterday on their own. This afternoon I keep answering the question of "How much longer till they get here?". I am so glad they are looking forward to the weekend and feel comfortable going without me and Andy! I think they feel like big stuff! I'm looking forward to a break for a couple days and only having Tyler in the house. It will be weird, quiet, and a nice little break!

WV Guy Campout/Girl Trip

Cousins, ready to hike!
This is fun! Check out Wilson's first pack.

A great outside adventure.

Taking a break from his 10-lb pack.

Eating his trail mix! There were several pics of Luke eating his trail mix!!

Luke got to go on the guy's campout this time!

Worn Out!

A backpacker just like his daddy.

Love this picture of Ethan and Wilson hiking!

The girls who stayed back at the house!

Towards the end of July we went to Snowshoe, WV with The M. Clan. The men and kids who are potty trained went camping and the girls and non-potty trained kids (+ Lily who doesn't like backpacking!!) stayed in a nice house on Snowshoe Mountain! It was a great few days. I had fun with my sister in laws, mother in law, and Nanny. It was a nice break to only have Ty to take care of at the house. The girls played games, went for walks, got in the hot tub, made cake pops, watched a movie, stayed up late talking, and really just enjoyed being together. The men folk had a great time in the Wilderness! Enjoy the pics! We did this a couple of years ago too. You can see those posts here and here. Sorry for the delay, with back to school I've not had much time for the blog.

Home Again!

The boys and I got home from West Virginia today. We went with Andy's parents to visit Andy's Nanny. Andy was in Richwood as well with the youth group doing mission work on local homes etc. We got up there late Tuesday afternoon and arrived home this afternoon. Andy is still driving home with the youth group- they went white water rafting today! We miss him! Even though we were able to see him for a little while in the evenings I can't wait for him to be home. We had a good trip- Luke didn't want to come home. On the drive home he kept saying "I go to Nanny's!" There isn't much to do in Richwood but we kept busy. We went and threw rocks in the river on Wednesday morning, went to the "work site" as Wilson called it to see the youth in action. Andy was roofing and Wilson got to go up and walk on the roof with him- very briefly! We hung out with the youth in the evening and on Thursday we took the boys to the Cass Railroad. They got to ride a train up the mountain, explore the camp where the loggers used to stay and each got a small train to take home. Luke was afraid of the train ride- it was loud. I'll post pics when Andy gets home with the camera. He was working with the youth but I was able to take the camera to Cass for some good pictures. Later that day Wilson wanted to have a water balloon fight so the youth group came over to Nanny's and had a water balloon fight. Wilson was in heaven! He and I had filled a bunch of water balloons- most of which he had used by himself so the youth filled a bunch more and fired away. We had a good time but Lottie sure was glad to see us when we got home!

I'm Baaack!!

The days just keep flyin' by! We just returned today from WV for a short trip with Andy's family. It was a blast! There will be a couple more posts later. The girls and babies stayed at Pipestem, a resort/lodge and the boys and kids went backpacking near the Cranberry river. I haven't had as much fun as I did in a long time! I can't wait to tell you all about it! Andy and Wilson seem exhausted from their backpacking trip. Us girls did a lot of talking, laughing, joking, playing Apples to Apples, eating, shopping, and basically reconnecting. It was GREAT! Andy had the camera on his trip so Steph and Erin are going to send me our great pics for a later post!
